Circles on a Mission Bicycle Ride is an opportunity to share the roads of Beauregard Parish while raising funds for the Methodist Children’s Home of Southwest Louisiana. Located in Sulphur, LA, the residential home provides comprehensive therapeutic services for children with significant and severe emotional and behavioral needs. Safety is paramount for every bicycle rider. You must wear a properly fitting helmet. No exceptions! Please have your tires properly inflated. Check your chain, brakes, and shifters. High visibility vests, flamboyant kits, and blinking lights are our friends. Please use sunscreen. Bring your own water bottle for endless refills.
Please arrive early anough to check-in, ask questions, listen to important route information, restroom access, etc. Be ready to roll at 8:00 AM. We will let the 50 milers go first, then the 23 milers, then the 8 milers, and finally the walkers. Light snacks, coffee, and water will be available.

The 8-mile route will take you through different neighborhoods of DeRidder. This is an easy ride for beginners and families. Vehicles will be trailing for safety and support. There will be two unmanned water stops, and one fully stocked SAG (Support And Gear) stop, complete with restrooms. homemade treats, water, and encouragement. RIDE - EAT - REPEAT

Our 23-mile route is geared for the experienced cyclist who wants an interesting ride. This route is a mixture of city neighborhoods, rural roads, and highways. A support vehicle will stay behind the last riders at all times. There will be unmanned water stops, and at least two fully stocked SAG stops with resrooms. Our friendly volunteers will offer homemade snacks, fruit, water, and warm smiles. RIDE - EAT - REPEAT
50-mile Bicycle Race Map:

The 50-mile route is for the experienced road cyclist who feels confident on the highways, and embraces challenges as opportunities for self-improvement. This route is mostly highway miles that will take you through rural farmland and timberland. Several unmanned water stops will be scattred along the way. At least three fully stocked SAG stations will help you get the fuel you need. Restrooms will be available. Our volunteers will provide homemade treats, fruit, water, and encouragement. RIDE - EAT - REPEAT
A support vehicle will always be available. The SAG stop in Merryville will be on location of the Merryville Museum and Burk’s Log Cabin, so this route is not only fun, but educational!

Discover for yourself why this fully escorted walking tour is an incredible experience. Our friendly and knowledgeable guides will lead you on a fascinating journey past The Hanging Jail, our Bodacious Courthouse, the first USO in the USA, and several of our oldest and most interesting places. Expect a fun and delightful stroll through Historic Downtown DeRidder. Food and beverages will be included afterwards.
There will be drawings for “door prizes.” These prizes could be anywhere from bicycle helmets to fun, fresh salsas made locally from the Outdoor Wilderness Learning Center (OWL). T-shirts and SWAG bags are included with each entry. Home made snacks, fruit, and plenty of water will always be available. A full, hearty meal will be ready for you at the finish line. Restrooms and changing rooms will be available. Smiles and hugs available upon request!
