Elizabeth Maricle, MCLC Director

About Liz:

I graduated from West Monroe High School in 1985 and came back home to DeRidder in 1997. I married Jimmy Maricle, and we have two daughters and two grandchildren (soon to be three!).

I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Northeast Louisiana, and my Masters Degree at McNeese State University in Leadership and Supervision.

I served as Principal at K.R. Hanchey Elementary in DeRidder and as a Supervisor for the Beauregard Parish School Board.  I retired in 2017, and now I am blessed to serve as Director for Methodist Children's Learning Center.  My top priority is loving our kids and our community here at MCLC. One word to describe me is INVESTED. Come learn and grow with us at MCLC.
