In the first of our latest sermon series, which is focusing on the five vows of membership we make when joining any local United Methodist Church, we look at the gift of prayer and it's essential role in the life of the Christian and the church. Drawing from Paul's words to the Ephesians, we see there are multiple facets of prayer that are crucial if the local church and the individuals therein are to fulfill God's calling to the faithful.
