Please see the worship material below for this Sunday, May 29th. This Sunday will be an outdoor worship service at the Wesley Campus. It is located at 701 N. Texas Street. Worship will be at 10:00 AM as usual!
Please bring with you on Sunday:
1) A comfortable chair to sit in (or a blanket for you or your kids to sit or lay on) during the service
2) Something for the potluck meal after service! We will likely eat inside the old sanctuary building. When you arrive just bring your food inside to the ladies who are setting everything up (you can help if you want to!)
3) This is casual Sunday and it's summertime! You are more than welcome to wear shorts and a t-shirt. The worship team will be dressing casual also.
4) Finally, we invite each of you to write a note of sympathy, support, love and/or hope to the people of Uvalde. Rev. Laraine has the name of the pastor from the FUMC in Uvalde, and she would love our congregation to help flood his church and community with love and hope and support. Let us let the people know of our prayers and of God's love. There will be a special offering plate for you to place your letter in on Sunday. If you cannot be at church Sunday, you are welcome to bring it by the office next week. Don't forget the office is closed on Monday!
