Hurricane IDA - Hygiene Kits & Donations!!!

Hurricane Ida has had a devastating effect on a large portion of Louisiana. Our congregation is very familiar with the tasks and their obstacles that they will encounter. We recently had the opportunity to assemble 500 flood buckets. 500!! Now we will gather our wonderful skills to pack hygiene kits. The kits will not only help people to maintain good health, but serve as instruments to nurture and help people to relate to Christ though these gifts.

You are invited to participate in this ministry on Sunday, September 5th, immediately following worship service. Tables with the kit supplies will be ready in the Fellowship Hall.

Generous monetary donations have already been given! Most of the items will be purchased in bulk. All of the contents fit nicely into a gallon size ziplock.

If you wish to purchase some items, please do. Monetary donations are always welcome. More opportunities to assemble kits will be available during the following week: September 6, 7, and 8. Please contact the Church Office or Susan Hill for more information.
