Although enormous strides have been taken since Hurricanes Laura and Delta, abandoned pets are still in constant need of food, shelter, and love.
A compassionate lady, Lori, who provides shelter in her home for mostly cats, reached out to our church for help. She spoke about a lady named Dana Frye who has a non-profit organization for abandoned pets in Lake Charles. Lori says the need for food and veterinary services is immense.
We will express our willingness to help by collecting dog food, cat food, cat litter, ANY brand! ANY size! Please bring your gifts to the Church Office by Friday, February 26th. You may also give a monetary donation. The check can be made out to Lake Area Partnerships for Animal Welfare (LAPAW). It is a nonprofit and tax-exempt under 501(c)(3) requirements.
Our goal is to bring in 100 bags total of dog food, cat food, and cat litter. If you have any questions about this challenge, please contact the Church Office at 337-463-4491. Thank you!
