Church Family & Friends,

This year's goal for the United Methodist Women is to fill 100 Operation Christmas Child boxes (50 boy and 50 girl). Please note that nothing military can be sent due to the areas some of the boxes will be going.

The United Methodist Women are currently looking for the following items to add to the Operation Christmas Child boxes:

Needs:  Barbies – 28

                Pens (black, blue or red)- 100

                1 subject notebook – 99

                Coloring books – 69

Crayons, 24 count – 76

Scissors – 79

Glue sticks – 73 (no gel or liquid)

Erasers – 88 pink erasers

Erasers, pencil tip – 100 (usually 25 in a bag)

Sharpeners – 39      

Hair brushes – 46

Combs – Boys, 32 

                   Girls, The brush/comb sets are good for girl boxes

Band-Aids – we need 400 to put two in each box  It would be nice  give each child 4 or 5

Wash cloths – need 107 to put 2 in each box

Soap – 99

Socks, girl’s – 5 pair

Underwear – Boy’s 50, size medium or large

                         Girls’, 18, size medium or large

Mardi Gras beads - 50

Fill In Items:  These are items to fill in empty spaces so we can send full boxes.

Matchbox cars, small cars/tractors, bracelets for boys and girls, bandanas, colored pencils, 6’ rulers, stencils, stickers, spinning tops, lip balm (no liquids), whistles, clippers. Anything 5-9 year old children like.  Filler items will need to be small.

Please deliver these items to the Church Office, or you may leave them in the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings before service. Thank you all for making this project successful each and every year!
