Day 3 on the road for FUMC DeRidder’s Circles On a Mission Bicycle Ride. Samantha took care of the SAG duties solo. We had a more relaxed ride through Vermillion Parish. Talk about a pastoral glimpse of coastal Louisiana! Road construction determined where I hopped off the saddle today, and will require some time with my Atlas tonight to reroute. All of the prayers and words of encouragement are incredible!!🚴🥦

Susan shares a beautiful tribute to Elizabeth Anne Jones:
My friend Elizabeth Anne Haynes Jones passed away recently. Her dear sister, JoAnna Haynes Tanner, gave me her clasping cross to carry in my pocket while on the Circles On a Mission Bicycle Ride. Elizabeth Anne’s steadfast faith and decades of service within DeRidder First United Methodist Church was astounding. Many of us loved her and miss her very much. No doubt she was told “Well done” as she passed through the pearly gates.
