You don’t know God until you talk with God in the Way of our Lord.
Prayer is a crucial way for us to experience God’s grace. Jesus used The Lord's Prayer to teach all disciples about how to communicate with God. Christians also order their lives around their relationships with each other, and these relationships are strengthened through personal and corporate prayer with God. The Lord's Prayer is a template for how to bring our needs, concerns, and challenges to God, who cares for each of us.
Whether you have prayed the Lord's Prayer for decades, or are new to the Christian tradition or simply want to explore more the meaning and implications of one of the few direct answers Christ offered in response to one of his disciple's questions, you can rest assured there is something in this for everyone!
(Oh, and if you cannot make it tomorrow, that's ok. We will be introducing this study and distributing books tomorrow night so as to give us a jump start for our first week's lesson and readings at the end of our last session for our current wilderness study. For those interested in participating but are unable to be with us tomorrow, books will be available from Camille in our church office beginning Thursday morning!)
